Customer feedback

We guarantee that all our feedback is genuine and can only be submitted by people who have booked through our websites.

, April 2012: We had a good overnight stay- the room was very clean and it was very quiet. We would appreciate the availability of breakfast on campus over the weekend and we would be happy to pay an extra cost.

, April 2012: comfortable warm room, friendly porter.

, April 2012: We did not get breakfast (Good Friday) but were informed in advance and refunded, so this was also dealt with well.

, March 2012: very good accommodation, although ran out of toilet roll but otherwise very comfortable and quiet, mainly due to spring break holiday, didnt realise all the cafes and restaurants would be shut but managed to get a bus straightaway into York for breakfast. Overall would definately recommend staying on campus.

, March 2012: The whole experience was excellent and the facilities were great. We had a good seminar at the sports centre and it was easy to get to from Franklin house. I was rather disappointed that I did not get breakfast. But that is all.

, February 2012: I was particularly struck by the helpfulness and of the excellent staff, especially the porter!

, November 2011: Simple but clean, warm, quiet and pleasant. We had a comfortable night. Cannot comment on breakfast, as none provided on Saturday.

, November 2011: breakfast was not included so question not applicable. I thought the room was excellent and is of real value to guests looking for budget accomodation in York, which I believe there is a real lack of.

, November 2011: would use again many thanks

, November 2011: Excellent value - we stayed at a weekend so can't comment on breakfast. Porters courteous and helpful

, October 2011: very clean and comfortable room.ideal for visiting york. we have already stayed here before so knew where to go ,but there are very few signs to tell you where to go . will definitely use this facility again.

, October 2011: very good standard of accommodation but cannot comment on breakfast as we did not have any

, October 2011: Delighted to find a room foe a single night at a reasonable rate. Booking in and out very efficient. Room very nice, TV, Internet, en-suite, comfortable. Thanks made my weekend stay.

, October 2011: Great value, much appreciated.

, September 2011: I had a lovely stay all staff where very helpful, and the cleaners were fantastic. Ill be back next year

, July 2011: Very good standard of accomodation, perfect location for visiting on University Open Days.

, April 2011: Perfect for conference guests. Could not find a hairdryer, which would be useful.

, March 2011: Very good but could we have (1) a little map to Franklin House from porter's lodge (on card reader maybe) (2) note on breakfast voucher of breakfast times. Otherwise, spot on.

, February 2011: Very happy. Nice accommodation.

, January 2011: Good value for money.

, December 2010: We didn't book breakfast. There were some noisy, overexcited, posh people making a lot of noise from about 2:30am on Sunday morning but that isn't the University's fault. Nice clean comfortable room.

, November 2010: The only negative I have is quite a small one: there was about 3 squares of toilet roll left on the holder. That said, I didn't bother raising it with the porter as it wasn't a big issue and I'm certain if I had they would have sorted that out. Nice accomidation for a bargain price (the price allowed me to attend my reunion, other accomidation in york would have meant paying at least 3 times more). Thank you.

, November 2010: Quiet until students got excited over snow and had a long snow fight late at night!. Overall it was a pleasant stay on the campus with comfortable rooms and facilities.

, November 2010: No breakfast was available at the weekends, but none was expected. There's no appropriate option to select, to reflect this. This is a fantastic facility which enabled us to visit our student daughter during a busy York commercial weekend.

, October 2010: The stay was very comfortable and all the staff were very helpful

, October 2010: Very good value for money. Comfortable rooms, located close to the city centre with handy free parking at the weekend. I have stayed on campus before (Wentworth College) and would definitely do so again.

, October 2010: breakfast was not available. good location, just a taxi ride away from city centre. Good Security and very quite. Plenty of parking too
